Zambezi

The vehicle transfers
pass through lush teak and Mopani forests and the
Zambezi floodplain vegetation.
Shackletons is easily
accessible on the Livingstone / Sesheke road (M10),
a newly tarred road that connects Livingstone (Zambia)
and Sesheke (Zambia).
The turn-off to Shackletons
is approximately 150 km west of Livingstone, 90km
west of Kazungula Ferry, 6 km west of the turnoff
to Mwandi, or 55 km east of Sesheke. There is a
3 ½ km sand road that leads down to Shackletons
on the upper Zambezi River. This road is suitable
for sedan vehicles all year round.
