SHACKLETONS
TIGER FISHING LODGE | ACCOMMODATION
Shackletons Tiger Fishing Lodge is an owner-managed
fishing lodge that sleeps 12 people, ensuring focused hospitality
and privacy.
The main lodge area is located on the banks
of the mighty upper Zambezi River. The Van Togo bar, sun-downer
deck, lounge, library, dining area, swimming pool and fire
pit provide guests with spectacular views of the Zambezi
River and its renowned sunsets.
Our guests are accommodated in 6 secluded,
thatched, en-suite chalets with private teak decks overlooking
the magnificent Zambezi River. Each chalet has twin/double
beds, cupboards, en-suite bathroom, hot & cold running
water, 220 V electricity, plug points, safety deposit box,
ceiling fan, and mosquito nets. Having your morning tea,
coffee and biscuits on your private teak veranda overlooking
the Zambezi River makes an idyllic start to the day.
Shackletons Tiger Fishing Lodge is renowned
for its wonderful ‘home-cooked’ meals. We have
our own vegetable garden and bake fresh biscuits, rusks
and cakes daily. Tea, coffee and home-baked rusks and biscuits
are available all day long.
Whilst at Shackletons Lodge, your every need
will be catered for by our very friendly, smiling, courteous
Zambian staff.
Shackletons is set in very tranquil grounds
with its rolling lawns, magnificent trees, river frontage,
abundant bird life, and bush surroundings. This makes Shackletons
one of the most beautiful fishing lodges in Zambia to unwind
from the daily stresses of life.
